 After leaving Shinra, Cloud started working as a mercenary for hire in Midgar and, at the request of his childhood friend Tifa, aided the anti-Shinra organization Avalanche. He can unleash a wide variety of attacks with his massive broadsword.

This wisecracking cat rides on the back of a large moogle—the Gold Saucer's mascot—as he shouts orders into his bullhorn. He follows the heroes on their journey to witness the outcome of their fortunes with his own eyes.

 Burdened by guilt for past deeds, for years he slept in the basement of the Shinra mansion. When he learns Cloud and the others are in pursuit of Sephiroth, he decides to accompany them.

Shinra SOLDIER: Second Class. He left his hometown and came to Midgar with dreams of becoming a hero.
  
He tackles his assignments head-on as he aspires to one day be promoted to SOLDIER: First Class.

He volunteers for a mission in enemy territory—one with a large reward—to locate a site for the construction of a mako reactor. He leads his friends to the Rhadoran isles on his first mission as leader.

Shinra SOLDIER: P0 Class.
  
His memory and judgment earned him the nickname ""Professor"" as well as Glenn's trust. At Glenn's request, he decides to join him on his mission.

Shinra SOLDIER: P0 Class.
  
An advisory officer for the military, she spends her days training cadets. However, she volunteers to join Glenn on his mission to exercise her skills as a sniper.
