Scenario

The people of Wutai are in a festive mood as they welcome the new year. Suddenly, a dragon emerges and soars through the sky leaving behind special new year's gifts. Gather these gifts and receive valuable treasure!

How to Play

Clear the event-exclusive Quests.
Obtain Exchangeable Items such asBrush of Resolutions and Gold Scale that can be exchanged for luxurious items at the Exchange every time you clear a quest.

Exchangeable Items that were collected in the quest can be exchanged for various items such as the Aerith-exclusive weapon Dawn’s Prayers, 4★+ Wpn. Guaranteed Draw Ticket, and Character-Specific Weapon Parts and Memories at the Exchange.

The Aerith-exclusive weapon Dawn’s Prayers can be obtained through the Exchange, or by clearing an Event Battle. Obtain multiple to perform Overboost.

Tips for Conquest

Yuffie hides the effective sigil for the Interrupt during the stream phase Shroud.
Shroud can be canceled by attacking with abilities that match the hidden sigil, so try attacking with various sigils.
Also, Fire Physical Ability is extremely effective, so make sure to include Fire Physical Ability in your party.
Furthermore, Yuffie uses a lot of Physical Attacks and uses abilities that increase her Physical Attack, so abilities that reduce Physical Attacks are also effective.

Reward Bonus

Equip Featured new weapons or gear from the Cloud & Sephiroth New Weapon Featured Draw and clear the event Happy New Year: The Wily Hunter to receive a reward bonus.
Due to the reward bonus effect, the amount of obtainable Exchangeable Items Brush of Resolutions, Gold Scale, and Silver Scale increase.

Also, by Overboosting weapons with reward bonus effects, you can increase the bonus effect value. *It does not increase at all stages of Overboost.
Please check the effect value of the reward bonus from the Bonus Details in the party formation screen within the event.
*Regardless of whether the weapon is equipped as main or sub equipment, forming a party with it will activate the reward bonus effect.
*The effect of the reward bonus is applied in duplicate for each target weapon or gear when multiple are equipped at the same time, but the increase limit is 280%.
*The reward bonus effects of the new weapons Skysplitter and Radiant Edge are effects that apply only to the event Happy New Year: The Wily Hunter and do not apply to rewards other than this event.
*Reward bonuses will not be applied to rewards other than Exchangeable Items Brush of Resolutions, Gold Scale, and Silver Scale.
*Exchangeable Item Silver Scale will be added at a later date.

Regarding the Calculation Formula for Obtained Reward Increases

• After multiplication, round off to the first decimal place.
• When using Stamina Boost, multiply the final total reward per item by the bonus percentage, then round off to the first decimal place.
