To express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you playing FFVII EVER CRISIS, we have prepared plenty of exciting new content to celebrate our 2.5 Year Anniversary!
Our 2.5 Year Anniversary celebration will begin on Feb. 28 2026 PST.
We would like to introduce some of the content ahead of time so that you can fully focus on enjoying the 2.5 Year Anniversary celebrations.

2.5 Year Anniversary Campaign

2.5 Year Anniv. Limit Break Medal 10 Draw

Collect 2.5 Year Anniv. Limit Break Medals to perform the 2.5 Year Anniv. Limit Break Medal 10 Draw.
This is a special Draw in which all appearing weapons are 5★ Limit Break Weapons.
*Only Limit Break Weapons released up to Sep. 29 2025 PDT are included.
Obtain 2.5 Year Anniv. Limit Break Medals by clearing 2.5 Year Anniversary Panel Missions.

2.5 Year Anniversary Panel Missions

To celebrate the 2.5 Year Anniversary, Panel Missions will be held.
Clear Panel Missions to obtain 2.5 Year Anniv. Limit Break Medals, a 2.5 Year Anniv. Gear Voucher, the Ultima Weapon Enemy Ability Shadow Flare, and more.
Exchange the 2.5 Year Anniv. Gear Voucher for 1 gear of your choice at the Exchange.
*Only certain Gear that was released up until Oct. 30 2025 PDT will be selectable.

2.5 Year Anniversary Daily Free Limit Break Draw

To celebrate the 2.5 Year Anniversary, a Daily Free Limit Break Draw will be held.
Each time this Draw is performed, a 2.5 Year Anniv. Medal x1 can be obtained.
Collect 2.5 Year Anniv. Medal x10 to exchange them for a limited-edition weapn that can be obtained from the 2.5 Year Anniversary Limit Break Draw.

We’ll be gifting one ★★★★★ Lv. 120 weapon for each character.
The weapons distributed as gifts are fully compatible with the new feature, Customization, detailed below. Be sure to try it out!

2.5 Year Anniv. Draw Ticket Gift x777

As a gift, we’re distributing a 2.5 Year Anniv. Draw Ticket, which allow you to perform a 2.5 Year Anniv. Ticket Draw. This Draw includes weapons that have been introduced up until February 2026 in the Odds.
*There are currently no plans to update the contents of the 2.5 Year Anniv. Ticket Draw.
*Tickets will be distributed over a total of 11 days as a Login Bonus.
*Limited-edition weapons and Ultimate Weapons are not included in the Odds of this ticket draw.

2.5 Year Anniversary Update Details

New Feature: Customization

We’re introducing a new feature, Customization, that unlocks the hidden potential of your weapons.
Customizaton is a special enhancement feature available only for certain weapons.
By consuming specific items, you can further enhance your weapon.
Available Customization types and their effects vary by weapon.
Planned effects include: Increased C. Ability Pot., enhanced additional effects for C. Abilities, unlocking additional R. Abilities, and more.
Some weapons have multiple Customization options, allowing you to choose which one to apply.

Extreme Escalation Challenge

As of Feb. 28 PST, high-difficulty content Extreme Escalation Challenge will be unveiled.
Each week until Mar. 18 PDT, a new boss will be added, bringing the total to seven bosses.

New content: Weapon Enhancement Event

In this event, you can obtain Gil and items needed for Customization.

2.5 Year Anniversary Limited-Time Gear Festive Style, Conqueror of the Planet

We’re sharing a preview of new 2.5 Year Anniversary gear that will appear in Draws over the course of 4 weeks starting Feb. 28 PST.
On Feb. 28 PST, Tifa’s new gear Festive Style and Sephiroth (Original)’s new gear Conqueror of the Planet will appear.
*We plan to add a total of 5 gear over the course of the 2.5 Year Anniversary. Further details will be provided in seaparate notices.

2.5 Year Anniversary Event Weapon Showdown: Battle for the Planet

To gain absolute control of the planet, Sephiroth unleashes Weapons against all possibilities.
In order to protect her friends, Aerith embarks on a quest to find a story that will stop Sephiroth.

Great Hunt Event: Supreme Weapon Majeure

As of Mar. 12 PDT, new high difficulty content Great Hunt Event: Supreme Weapon Majeure will be unveiled.

A setting to hide the text that appears when a buff or debuff is applied will be added.

Synth Catalyst – First Light
When synthesizing materia using the new recipes being added, combining Synth Catalyst – First Light with other synth catalysts and reaching the maximum synthesis level will ensure that the result is a 5★ materia.

Synth Catalyst – First Light, Greater PATK Branding Stone, and Greater MATK Branding Stone are new items planned to be added in the 2.5 Year Anniversary.

When using the new recipes that will be added for synthesizing materia, this catalyst will guarantee 5<sprite="tmp_icon" index=196> materia.

Greater PATK Branding Stone
When used in Branding, the PATK stat is more likely to increase.

When used in Branding, the MATK stat is more likely to increase.

Season Pass Improvements

The Exploration content and rewards of the Season Pass will be improved.
Exploration content and rewards will be adjusted to match the current state of the game.

Gil Request Daily Quest Improvements

Rewards that can be obtained in the daily quest “Gil request” will be improved.
The amount of Gil that can be obtained will be adjusted to match the current state of the game.

Inventory Screen Notification Badge

When a tab on the left of the Inventory screen is opened, all items within that tab will be marked as viewed. When switching tabs, the notification badges on both the tab and its item thumbnails will be cleared.
